Join us for an engaging and informal gathering at "Patents & Pizza," where community members can chat about all things patents while enjoying a slice of pizza—on us! Patents and Pizza offers a unique opportunity to explore the world of intellectual property with Priya Cloutier, Director of Intellectual Property at UC San Diego’s Office of Innovation and Commercialization.
Priya has spent 26 years advising start-ups, emerging companies, and closely held corporations develop their patent and IP portfolios for commercialization. She has deep experience in Due Diligence, leading several large IP Due Diligence teams over the years. This time Priya will focus on building a patent portfolio for fundraising and due diligence success.
This FREE event provides a friendly space to ask questions, share ideas, and gain insights from an expert in the field along with some delicious pizza to enjoy!

MTS Trolley
The easiest way to get to the DIB is by taking the MTS trolley UC San Diego Blue Line and getting off at the UC San Diego Central Campus stop. The trolley stop is a short 1 minute walk to the DIB.
Parking
Public transportation is highly recommended as parking is limited on campus. If you plan to drive to campus, please give yourself plenty of time. You can download the ParkMobile app to pay for your space digitally once you find a spot.
