We are excited to invite you to our 3rd Independent Baptist Pastors Fellowship and Preaching Meeting on Monday, April 27th, and Tuesday, April 28th, 2026, here at Calvary Baptist Church in Branson, Missouri. This year, we had a wonderful time of fellowship and great preaching, with over 60 different preachers and their families in attendance. This year, we are excited to add a family activity on Tuesday afternoon (more info to follow) and a Tuesday night service for those who want to stay. We cordially invite you, your wife/family, your staff, and any members of your church who would like to attend.We are excited to welcome Bro. Thomas Smith and Pastor David Isaacs as our preachers, and special music by the Hershberger Family.
Pastor Thomas Smith of St. Clair, Missouri served as Senior Pastor of Mt. Zion Baptist Church for 41 years (1981–2022), after beginning his ministry there in 1977. In addition to his pastoral work, Pastor Smith has spent many years in evangelistic ministry, preaching revivals and Bible conferences throughout the United States and in more than 20 foreign countries, including extensive work training pastors in former Soviet republics.He is the author of Straight Paths, Volumes One and Two, daily devotional books, and is a contributor to the periodical The Flaming Torch. Pastor Smith has been faithfully married to his wife for over four decades, and though retired from full-time pastoring, he continues to preach and serve as the Lord provides opportunity.
Pastor David Isaacs was saved in the year of ’76 under the ministry of Bro. Jack Stanley in Stilwell, Oklahoma. He surrendered to preach in winter of 1983. He served in many different area at First Baptist Church for many years, learning and growing. In 1993 he moved his family to Cherokee Village, AR, to help Bro. Mike Stanley with the newly established work of Friendship Baptist Church. There he served faithfully as Bro. Stanley’s assistant pastor. In 1997 the Lord called him to pastor Liberty Baptist Church in Payneway, AR. He pastored until 2002. During the spring of 2002 the Lord called him back to serve as assistant pastor to Friendship Baptist with Bro. Mike Stanley. In the winter of 2015 God called him to pastor Washington County Baptist Church in Lincoln, Arkansas. He has served there faithfully these 10 almost 11 years. Bro. Isaacs’ moto is: “Everybody needs somebody to care!” His love for the Lord and kindness to others has been a great Influence in the lives of countless folks. Numbers 6:24-26
