In this workshop, you will learn the basics of pastel painting. We will cover types of pastels and paper, the basic steps in the development of a landscape painting, and a few tricks to make your painting pop.
This class is open to all skill levels (ages 14 to adult).
It’s a three-part workshop series with demonstrations of underpainting in the second week. This technique is used to make your painting more dynamic and interesting. It pushes you towards a less rigid and looser style of painting.
Students may sign up for one or all sessions.
