About this Event
Pasta Workshop: Handmade Italian Cappelletti
slow living, flour-dusted hands & shared tables
In this workshop, we’ll slow things down and step into the rhythm of traditional Italian pasta making. Together, we’ll prepare a simple pasta dough from scratch — slowly but steady, with time to feel the texture, work the dough, and enjoy the process.
Cappelletti originate from Emilia-Romagna, a region often called the heart of Italian cuisine. Traditionally shaped by hand and made for special gatherings, cappelletti are a symbol of care, patience, and cooking for the people you love.
Once our dough is rested, we’ll roll it beautifully thin and I’ll guide you step by step in shaping cappelletti by hand. We’ll fill them with a fragrant ricotta & herb mixture, keeping the flavors simple and honest.
After the workshop, we’ll cook the cappelletti and eat together at the table, just as it should be. Each participant will also take home an extra portion of freshly made cappelletti, plus a small printed recipe so you can recreate the experience at home.
