About this Event
As part of our Summer Pasta Festival on Sunday 21st of July, we are running some delicious, fun-filled Egg Pasta Making Masterclasses!
? One alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink per person included ?
During the 45minutes class, you’ll learn:
- How to create the perfect egg pasta dough (to impress your family/next date)
- What’s behind a good quality Egg pasta: how to choose the best ingredients
- T he difference between Semolina and 00 Flour
- How to roll the dough (using a pasta machine)
- How to make 2 pasta shapes: Tagliatelle and Farfalle
- The story behind these two traditional shapes
- How to pair pasta shapes with the right sauces (yes, pasta shapes and sauces are never paired randomly!)
- How to reuse pasta scraps to create more pasta shapes.
After the Masterclass, you’ll take your pasta creations home in a takeaway container, to prepare them with your favourite sauce and prove your new pasta skills to your foodie friends :)
Event details:
- Egg pasta classes will be run at 3:30pm, 4:30pm, 5:45pm; please make sure you arrive 15 minutes before they start.
- All the ingredients and equipment will be provided (and the Italian vibes are on us, too!)
- Location: Emilia’s Canary Wharf, 12 George Street, Wood Wharf, E14 9QG (the team at the Info point will give you the right directions)
- In case you can’t get a ticket, we’ll be leaving some spaces for walk-ins
- Before/after the class, you will be able to enjoy the fun activities and live music at the Summer Pasta Festival and to taste our fresh pasta dishes prepared in our stalls on the outdoor terrace
