About this Event
Discover Long Island's State Parks in our returning monthly hiking series through every park on the Island! Each park will feature challenging and accessible hikes each month! This month's hikes takes place at Heckscher. This hike will be an easier hike on flat dirt or gravel trail. 1-2.5 mike hike.
Please meet in Field 3.
New participants will receive a passport booklet. Earn a sticker at each state park's passport hike. Present 5 stickers for a free hat, and earn 10 stickers to be entered into a raffle for a chance to win FREE admission to our 2027 Environmental Education programs!
Please note stickers from 2025 can be carried over into 2026 passport through parks sessions! Please note that the 10 stickers earned enters you into the raffle at the end of 2026 for 2027 Environmental Education Programs.
(One sticker to be earned at each state park)
$ 4 per person upon arrival, $8 parking fee in effect. Space is limited, and reservations are required! Please make sure every child and adult in your party has a registered ticket. If you can no longer keep your reservation, please cancel so others may have the opportunity to attend. Please try to arrive 15 minutes early.
Recommended for ages 8 and up.
