Written by LarryJean Powell and Directed by Zhailon Levingston, This powerful story follows a failing, brilliant acting student who loses his student housing and finds shelter in The Ballroom Scene, fighting to succeed in the rigorous training program by day and earn his place in the ruthless House by night. This story explores identity, acceptance, and resilience within the Ballroom Scene and The Acting Conservatory Training Program in a rare mix of these two legendary spaces. **The piece contains strong language. Mature Audiences 16+ are welcome (parental discretion advised).

• Development Journey: This piece began its development pre-FX's Pose, Legendary and the otherwise mainstream positioning of The Ballroom Scene. It also comes from an authentic, lived-experience space as larryjean was a member of The Legendary House of Ultra-Omni in 2005-7 while also attending Carnegie Mellon University's acting program which they graduated from in 2008. The piece isn't biographical in anyway rather uses those environments to ask questions and contemplate certain themes, issues, and possible solutions. since 2014 LarryJean receirved criticial support from The Lark Play Development Center, 360RepCo Judson Memorial Church, and Greenway Arts Coalition, and The Ballroom Community
