EN/The tenth edition of the Passa Porta Festival, one of the most significant literary events in Europe, will take place from the 28th to the 30th of March 2025. More than 100 writers and artists will animate a long weekend of multilingual encounters at a dozen venues in the heart of Brussels. We are thrilled to unveil the theme that will run like a thread through this year’s festival: ‘Ghosts’. A multifaceted theme that will inspire some sixty encounters in which readings, interviews, panel discussions, workshops, performances, images and music will showcase the best of contemporary literature in all its possible forms.

Du 28 au 30 mars 2025 prochain, le Passa Porta Festival revient pour une dixième édition. Devenu l’un des événements littéraires les plus importants d’Europe, le Passa Porta Festival invite plus de 100 écrivain·e·s et artistes pour un grand weekend de rencontres plurilingues dans une dizaine de lieux au coeur de Bruxelles. Il est temps de dévoiler le thème retenu pour la nouvelle édition de ce festival résolument international : « Ghosts ». Une thématique spectrale qui donnera lieu à une soixantaine de rendez-vous entre créations, performances, lectures, musique, images, interviews et rencontres... Le meilleur de la littérature contemporaine, dans des apparitions variées.

De tiende editie van het Passa Porta Festival, een van de belangrijkste literaire evenementen in Europa, vindt plaats van 28 tot 30 maart 2025. Meer dan 100 schrijvers en kunstenaars animeren een lang weekend met meertalige ontmoetingen op een tiental locaties in het hart van Brussel. Met veel plezier onthullen we het thema dat als een rode draad door het internationale festival zal lopen: “Ghosts”.
