Pass the Mic: Use Your Voice Onstage an experiential vocal workshop to develop confidence & bring your voice to life.
About this Event

Do you crave being center stage? Are you someone who tends to hang back in the band, plucking away, but secretly wants more? Do you suffer from stagefright?

You deserve to be in the limelight. You have something unique to say, to sing, to express. You deserve to have your unique point of view heard & witnessed. You have the capacity to be loud and to be in your power & authenticity onstage while friends & strangers admire you.

Have you ever told yourself “No one wants to hear this!” about a song or piece of writing you’ve created, but not yet shared?

What is the risk of not sharing your song? What is the risk of not saying what you need to say, of never being fully witnessed in your unique creative expression?

Join Felicity Doyle to explore these questions. We’ll connect the voice to the body through breathwork, games, physical exercises & vocal explorations designed to develop bodily & spatial awareness to anchor your performance skills. We’ll discover a wellspring of support to embolden you to take up space, shake off that pre-show anxiety & grab the microphone.

What You’ll Need:

  • 4 lines of a song, poem, or bit to work with. (For songs, originals or covers welcome.)
  • Your Instrument (there is also a house guitar, piano, or ukelele available to use.)
  • Water & comfortable clothing.

Join in the fun with Felicity & free your voice the next time you perform.

Testimonial for PASS THE MIC:

"I deeply appreciated the opportunity to work on my stage fright with Fee in her Pass the Mic class. Despite my cold, sweaty, shaky hands, Fee created a safe space within our little group to allow my voice to come out and my hands to play my harp. I'm surprised to say that after just one class I feel significantly more confident in front of a crowd. I'll be coming back for sure." -Mishi L.
