World-famous show Pasión de Buena Vista in Switzerland!In 2025, the legendary music and dance ensemble Pasión de Buena Vista once again sets off on a tour across European cities to offer audiences a unique immersion into Cuban culture and music. The show combines live music and traditional Cuban dance in a dynamic and vibrant performance that has already captivated hundreds of thousands of fans around the world.
Pasión de Buena Vista brings together professional musicians and vocalists of the “Buena Vista Band” and dancers of “El Grupo de Bailar” from Havana. The ensemble is renowned for its spectacular performances and authentic rhythms of salsa, mambo, rumba, danzón, and bolero. Under the direction of musical director and vocalist Pelayo Oxamendi, a graduate of the University of Havana and a participant of the legendary Buena Vista Social Club, the show features more than 150 custom-made costumes, detailed stage design, and professional choreography.
A rich palette of instruments sounds on stage: vibrant percussion rhythms — drums, timbales, and congas — blend harmoniously with a powerful brass section including trombone and trumpet. The overall sound is complemented by bass guitar, piano, and the authentic tres guitar, giving the music its distinctive Latin American character. Special charm is added by the vocalists accompanying the ensemble and showcasing their unique voices in solo performances. This is a live musical journey to the very heart of Cuba, filled with passion, rhythm, and the true atmosphere of Buena Vista.
Over the years, the ensemble has performed more than 1,000 concerts in 35 European countries, reaching an audience of over one million people. Audiences worldwide praise the show’s energy, which combines live sound, passionate vocals, and expressive dance to create an unforgettable Cuban festive atmosphere.
