Since 2011, Newcastle Outrigger Canoe Club (NOCC) has hosted the iconic Pasha Dasha Grand Prix on our wonderful water playground, Newcastle Harbour. You are invited to join us for our 15th regatta, where your family and friends can enjoy unobstructed spectator access along the entire length of the course.OC1/OC2/V1

Safety Equipment
All OC1/2 & V1 competitors must wear an approved PFD, a leg rope and carry a spare paddle and a phone or a flare. V1s must have a bailer (or a pump).
All OC6 Canoes will be scrutineered and must have- storm covers, 2 bailers, a 25m tow rope, a spare paddle and 6 approved PFDs, (Inflatable PFD’s are not to be used)
Safety inspections will be performed. Any canoes that do not meet AOCRA safety guidelines will be ineligible to race
Registrars please list your canoe number in the comments when registering and please note also AOCRA rules that paddlers must be a registered member of the club they are racing with at Club events.
Note also that this event is being run as an aggregate age event.
NOTE: All paddlers are to be aware of the AOCRA rules especially with regard to the starting procedures, turning/give way, and to show general etiquette on the water. Interference with another canoe on the water can lead to disqualification
