Chilean singer/songwriter/accordionist PascualaIlabaca and her band Fauna are known for fusion
of genres such as cumbia and salsa, along with
jazz, pop, and rock. Pascuala and her band are
known for their strong live shows and for being
one of the most empowered voices of the new Chilean
music; they draw on roots music from different
parts of the globe to create a joyful and complex music that blends carnival with politics, and
which is expressed with fragility and vigor. Performance held in the Gardiner Theater.
