About this Event

The Part Time Party Time Band has been an icon in Southeastern entertainment since 1980. The Part Time Party Time Band’s extraordinary variety of experience includes appearances with top name performers such as The Four Tops, The Tams, Delbert McClinton, and The Beach Boys.

Not just a beach music band, the Part Time Party Time Band plays the best of Motown, Soul, ’60s, ’70s, and timeless classics. They’ll even slide in a funk or country song to keep the dance floor full. No sequencers, synthesizers, drum machines, or backing tracks are allowed. These are real musicians playing real music with heartfelt passion. “PTPTB” is completely prepared to provide an audience involved entertainment experience! They always make it “PARTY TIME”!

Your 2026 Annual Pass admits you to this event. Children 12 and under who are accompanied by parents or guardians are admitted free to Amphitheatre events covered by the annual pass.

What time does the gate open?

Gates will open one hour prior to show time. There are three entrances located around the venue marked "PAY HERE." Exchange your ticket for an armband. Children 12 and under are admitted free for the 2026 summer series.


What are my parking options for the event?

Free Parking available (with no time limit):

Are food and drinks available?

Beer, wine, and food trucks will be on site.


Coolers/picnic baskets are not permitted.

No alcoholic beverages may be brought from outside the campus.

Lawn chairs are recommended.


What is the refund policy?

Ticket sales are non-refundable.


Are Pets Allowed?

Certified service animals are permitted. Each service animal must remain with its owner and be restrained at all times.


What is the weather policy?

In the case of inclement weather, decisions to move the performance indoors will be made by the band no later than 5 pm on the day of the performance. It will be announced on the Blackmon Amphitheatre Facebook Page. Online ticket purchasers will receive notifications via email. If an event is relocated indoors, seating will be first-come, first-served due to limited capacity.


Are there public restrooms?

ADA-compliant public restrooms are located in the Arts Center, 215 Rockford Street, Mount Airy, NC 27030, and behind the amphitheater.


Where is smoking permitted?

Smoking is only permitted in the parking areas. There is no smoking permitted on the amphitheatre grounds or in the restrooms.


Is the venue handicap accessible?

The venue is handicap accessible.
