Parks in Progress: A Community Open House Event

The City of Burlington, in partnership with the New Leaf Society and the Burlington Downtown Corporation, invites residents to attend Parks in Progress, a community open house event designed to showcase and gather feedback on draft master plans for three area parks.
The event will take place on Monday, September 8, 2025, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Carousel House Meeting Room, located in City Park at 1368 South Main Street, Burlington. The floating-style open house is free and open to the public; no registration is required. Light refreshments will be provided.
This event offers the community the chance to:
-Review draft master plans for Burlington City Park, Phase II of the Burlington Arboretum at Willowbrook Park, and a new Downtown Pocket Park.
-Engage with the design professionals who created the plans and share feedback that will help shape the future of Burlington’s parks and public spaces.
