About this Event

Are you 16-25 years-old and looking for work experience in an environmental role, something to add to your CV, or a career change to a green job?

The Parks Foundation are delivering free sessions for young adults, teaching green skills in parks across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole - no prior experience needed. With varied sessions available, develop a range of skills at our different events.

In this session, get involved in practical conservation in your local greenspace and enjoy the outdoors. Join our regular gardening volunteers to mainitain our growing space and areas in the park such as our orchard and foraging plots. There will also be a butterfly survey to join in on. You can come along for the full session and bring your lunch, or just for the morning or afternoon.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.

To register your interest and gain full access, or if you have any questions, contact us on: ranger@parksfoundation.org.uk - booking is required.

This session is aimed at young people who must be able to attend and work independently. In some sessions we will be using tools and working with other members of the public, so the attendees will need to be responsible for themselves and their conduct whilst attending.

The Parks Foundation charity enhances parks across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole so that people and wildlife can flourish.
