A duo from Brooklyn, New York - paris_monster consists of Josh Dion (vocals, drums, keyboards) and Geoff Kraly (bass, modular synth), and together the pair creates a powerful, groove-driven sound that blends funk, soul, glitchy electronics, and garage rock.
Critics praise their live shows as dense, virtuosic soundscapes that belie the fact that only two musicians are on stage. With releases including Lamplight and their newest album Opalesce, Paris Monster has toured extensively across the U.S. and Europe and shared bills with established acts while building a dedicated following.
Dave Butler & Friends is a vibrant musical collective that weaves together groove, improvisation, and song-craft into an eclectic, feel-good live experience. Formed for a residency in his hometown of Hopewell, NJ, drummer and producer Dave Butler created the project as a way to make more music with his closest collaborators while home from tour. With a rotating cast of special guests and a core group of four friends, the band quickly developed a unique chemistry all their own.
For the past decade, Dave has toured globally with the alternative rock band Guster, and his extensive career has included collaborations with Lee “Scratch” Perry, Marco Benevento, Tom Hamilton, and Todd Sheaffer.
Joining Dave are Justin Mazer, a genre-bending guitarist and composer from Pennsylvania known for blending rock, jazz, and Americana influences; Jon LaDeau, soulful singer-songwriter and guitarist originally from the Pine Barrens of New Jersey, now based in Brooklyn;and Scott Colberg, versatile electric and upright bassist, producer, and composer, and a longtime fixture of the Brooklyn music scene.
Together, Dave Butler & Friends create an atmosphere where spontaneity, musicianship, and genuine camaraderie converge—making each performance something truly special.
