Since 2013, Paris Pick, the self-proclaimed “Yacht-Pop Princess” and frontwoman of Paris Pick & The Pricks (hence “The Prick”), has been making waves with her signature brand of alt yacht-pop-rock music, showcasing her knack for writing shimmering hooks and breezy mid-’70s-inspired melodies that linger long after the show. From honing her craft in Whitehorse, Yukon for many years, to now being based in BC where Pick was born, Paris has spent the past decade touring extensively and performing at standout festivals both nationally and internationally. Recently named to Exclaim!’s New Faves: Hottest Canadian Artists You Need to Hear Right Now, and previously a CBC Music Toyota Searchlight Top 100 artist, Pick continues to carve out a niche sound and presence within the Canadian indie music scene.
