About this Event
The Mental Health Association of Central Florida provides free mental health services to everyone in the community. The Association counts on several programs that impact the needs of those participating. Through the Family Advocacy Program, you will receive FREE mental health services such group and individual psychotherapy/counseling, assessments, a specialized individual service plan with a wraparound perspective, case management and others.
This program creates in-person groups to impact the participants with educational information about mental wellness, coping skills, life skills, and brings the opportunity for youth, adolescents, and parents/caregivers to engage in services. The youth groups accept participants from 6-9 years old. The participants in the adolescent groups are from 10-17 years old. The parents/caregivers’ groups are open to those interested in learning how to manage their children’s mental wellness in healthy ways.
Admission to the groups is FREE. Just click on the ticket’s/reserve a spot bottom and select your participation/admission. You will need to sign a consent form that the Community Care Manager will send you via email to enroll in the desired group. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
