Fully escorted Metric-Century, 18-20 mile per hour pace - Rain or Shine - Parking in the visitor lot, Parking at lot 7 of Camping World Stadium or downtown and ride to the start - Registration table opens 6:00 am day of registration, Wheels up 8:00am -$65.00 Tax deductible registration (Tax ID #47-5238053).Every year, hundreds of law enforcement officers are killed in the line of duty. 2024 has been no exception, with brave officers losing their lives defending the citizens they were sworn to protect. The Orlando Police Department is not immune to this tragedy. The Orlando Police Department generously supports this ride. The Fallen Officer Memorial Ride is our way of giving back to the law enforcement community. The ride will be a metric century, fully escorted through the city. The first 15-minute rest stop will be at miles 24-25. The second 15-minute rest stop will be at mile 52. The meal at the end of the ride, mile 65, will be provided by Mission BBQ! The youth we work with want to give back and show their support by assisting with the event. Let’s show we support our law enforcement community by participating in this worthwhile charity ride. This ride is to help Orlando Police Officers who are riding in the Police Unity Tour. The Police Unity Tour was organized by Officer Patrick P. Montuore of the Florham Park (NJ) Police Department to bring public awareness of law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty and honor their sacrifices.
