Week 2 -Are you ready for work?
Host: DWP Family Community Work Coach
Info: Week 2 will focus on preparing for entering or re-entering work. We will look to improve motivation to set clear and challenging, yet achievable, personal work goals. With the aim of starting the process of raising aspirations and developing confidence whilst challenging self-limiting beliefs.
Interview skills

Week 3- Interview skills/prep
Host: DWP Family Community Work Coach
Info: Week 3 will focus on Interview Skills. We will work to assist customers in increasing their confidence, experience, and success at job interviews and develop and practice the skills needed to interview with confidence.
Childcare Information
🕑: 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Week 4- Childcare Information Session
Host: DWP Family Community Work Coach
Info: Week 4 will focus on Childcare and the support available. We will discuss Upfront Childcare costs, 85% UC Childcare Costs, 15/30 hours free entitlement, The Flexible Support Fund, UC
Work Allowance and the benefits of working. A member of the Families Information Service team should also be in attendance.

Week 5- Meet an employer/provider
Info: Week 5 we will invite a local employer that the Department for Work and Pensions are
currently working with into the Family Hub to directly interview. Outside of this, the
Supporting Families Employment Advisor will also be sitting down with you to apply for the
live vacancies.
