Parent & Me Cookie Easter Cookie Decorating Class! Tiny Hands

Spend sweet quality time together in this hands-on Parent & Me Cookie Decorating class! Join Celebrity Pastry Chef Dawn of Ravy Cakes, LLC for a fun, creative experience where parents or grandparents and children will learn the basics of cookie decorating using royal icing and professional techniques.

Each pair will decorate a set of freshly baked cookies while learning piping, flooding, and simple design skills in a relaxed, encouraging environment. No prior experience is needed—just bring your creativity and appetite for fun! Each team will decorate five delicious sugar cookies.

All supplies are provided, and each family will leave with beautifully decorated cookies to enjoy at home, plus new skills and sweet memories made together. A cookie box will be provided to take your cookies home.

Meet Your Instructor:

Dawn Alston of Ravy Cakes, a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native, grew up in Northern Virginia where she started baking at the age of six. Dawn holds an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts and has competed in many local baking events and in 2018 she competed on Food Network’s Wedding Cake Championship. All The Details:

• Age Level: 5+ with a parent/grandparent/adult
• Skill Level: Beginner
• Each ticket includes 1 adult and 1 child. If you wish to bring more than 1 child to the class, there is an additional charge of $75. Please contact Fran's directly to purchase your ticket to ensure we can accommodate an additional child.
• All supplies and tools are provided for use during class.
• We will provide a box for each team to take your cake home in
• The class may be a little messy so we recommend bringing an apron.
• If you have long hair, you may want to tie it back.
• Class requires a minimum of 2 teams and there is a maximum of 8 teams. In the event of insufficient enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
• Class will run approximately 2.5 hours. Please note that the class is hands-on and may run over or under schedule.

Cancellation Policy:

Changes and cancellations...we know life happens so we try our best to be flexible while being fair to our instructors who purchase supplies and bake for each student. Full refunds or credits are available for cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the class. If you need to cancel after 5 days but at least 48 hours in advance, we can offer you a credit for a future class. We cannot offer any credits for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled class.
