About this Event
Designed by East London Sport, this Para & Inclusive Sports Day celebrates participation, teamwork, and the power of inclusion. The event introduces children aged 7–11 to para and adaptive sports, showing that sport truly is for everyone — regardless of ability or experience.
Participants will get the chance to take part in wheelchair basketball and sitting volleyball, supported by experienced coaches and inclusive sport facilitators. The day will also feature special guests from the East London Phoenix wheelchair basketball team, including athletes who have represented Great Britain, offering an inspiring first-hand look at excellence, resilience, and teamwork in action.
Each activity is designed to promote understanding, empathy, and collaboration, helping children learn the value of inclusion through sport. Schools will rotate through activity stations, ensuring every child takes part, builds confidence, and experiences success in an engaging and supportive environment.
