About this Event
Known as the ‘King of Cheeses’, Parmigiano Reggiano has a history extending back over a thousand years. Hundreds of hours of labor go into every delectable ounce, and the high standards and regulations placed on its production ensure that each bite is as delicious as the last.
Join wine and cheese educator (the big cheese himself) Adam Centamore for an evening exploring a variety of divine Parmigiano Reggiano samples smuggled in from his journeys across Italy from small, family-owned farms, including aged versions not available in the United States. Learn what goes into the making of a wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano as you enjoy these savory samples, and explore the towns of Parma and Reggio and the nuances that their cheeses can show. Additionally, each Parmigiano Reggiano will be served with a custom wine pairing purposefully picked by Adam Centamore to showcase the stunning nature and complexity of the Parmigiano, along with a variety of other classic foods native to the region around Parma and Reggio.
**We will make every effort to accommodate food allergies and/or dietary restrictions, but, due to the fact that we work with small producers from around the globe, we are unable to guarantee or protect from cross contamination**
All participants must be at least 21 years old.
