Paperbacks is an indie pop band based in southern Minnesota, helmed by Minneapolis tunesmith Sven-Erik Olsen (vocals & guitar), whose melodic, jangly Beatlesque pop gems are brought to life by keyboardist Julie Sweet, bassist Michael Brewer Carina, and drummer Dan Greenwood.Influenced by the likes of Pavement, Flaming Lips, and Eggo Waffles, TOASTER GHOST uses their supersonic rays to defy eardrums, gravity, and conventional genre classification. Consumption of supernatural breakfast food allows them to appear as people of earth, but in reality they are TOASTER GHOST.
Oliver Phibes is a surf-based instrumental band headquartered in the Twin Cities. Featuring members of Sicbay, The Yoleus, and Go Go Boot Camp.
