About this Event
The workshop is held two sessions (10am to 12pm & 2pm to 4pm) with max of 15 participants per session. Each session will last about two hours. Participants will be guided through the process of crafting beautiful designs, and by the end of each session, bring a unique product home as a keepsake.
It's an inclusive experience to work alongside people with disabilities (PWDs). Through this shared activity, participants can connect, empathize, and understand that PWDs are just as capable, helping to bridge differences and foster a sense of community.
Note: There will also be a booth at the L1 Atrium for more information on Enabling Services Hub.
About the organisation:
Established by SG Enable and partners as part of the Enabling Masterplan 2030, Enabling Services Hubs (ESHs) take a regional approach to bring community support services closer to the homes of persons with disabilities and their caregivers.
This includes information and referral to relevant service providers, social and recreational activities, caregiver support and continual education and learning courses.
SG Enable has set up ESHs in Tampines and Punggol in partnership with SPD, as well as in Jurong in partnership with TOUCH Community Services.
