Paper Cuts Collage

Join Boone of Spoil Born Image Carving for 'Paper Cuts Collage Worksop', a personal tour of his hellish artistic process in apocalyptic collage. A night of integrating personal storytelling, intuitive practices and of course magazines, scissors and glue. Where are our own imaginations fail to conjure images to express the shadows of our mind, the art of seeking and assembling found images offers us an opportunity to use what makes itself available and attribute meaning to it with ease. Come join Boone in an evening of sacred scissors, grateful glue with a personal touch in what will prove to be a weird and wonderful evening.
"My relationship with collage has always been a calling to my muse, to break of artist inertia. When life fell apart I leaned so hard on glue and scissors that they became a primary passion. Each piece part of a puzzle I was putting back together, tea leaves being cut out by my subconscious. I was lead to express grief and fear I would have otherwise never chosen to express. Often collage is used to visionboard our goals or ideals. I want to lead others through the darkness of their subconscious where they can learn to express their pain and fear intuitively while still finding a way to play."
