Join Nadine Nelson for a community potluck that explores diasporic food traditions from around the world.
About this Event

Pantry Pollination is a community gathering and potluck exploring the connections between Black, Asian, Caribbean, Middle Eastern, and African diasporic food traditions. Through tea, small bites, seed sharing, and conversation, the event highlights how everyday ingredients and markets carry stories of migration, exchange, and cultural influence. Guests are invited to bring a small dish or ingredient to share.

Nadine Nelson is a multidisciplinary artist, chef, and educator whose work uses food as a medium for cultural connection and community engagement. Born in Toronto to Jamaican parents, her practice brings together global food traditions, storytelling, and social practice. She is a James Beard-celebrated chef and the owner of Global Local Gourmet, an interactive culinary event company specializing in cooking classes and experiential events.
