Hello, funny ladies!It's that time of year again! Panties in a Twist XIII is right around the corner! This year, it will be held May 30th and 31st at Wells Theatre!!!!!
If you are interested in writing for Panties in a Twist XIII, have your scripts emailed to [email protected] no later than March 30 at noon. The sooner you get your scripts in, the better for feedback!!
PLEASE NOTE: Any song parodies or openers have a deadline of MARCH 23 at noon!
Some Tips and Tricks:
-Scripts should be 5-7 pages max
-3 beats with heightening and a clear game with a button is great!
-Bigger sketch casts are preferred!
-Sketches with a lot of action are preferred!
-Sketches do not have to have a “woman” theme (we are more than vaginas and periods!)
-You can submit as many as you would like
-we may send you rewrite suggestions, and any script you submit is subject to rewrites and cuts in the rehearsal process
-Opener submissions are welcome! They don’t have to be about Panties and they don’t HAVE to be songs! Again, these are due by March 23rd!
-if you are submitting a song-GREAT!! We will only be able to select a few, but we enjoy them! (again, due MARCH 23)
We've been happy to hear of people getting together to write scripts. This is a great idea and strongly encouraged! As a reminder, these must be all female/female identifying writers.
