You’re Probably Wondering How I Got Here: Publishing as the Production of Architectural Identity

Publishing is an opportunity to reframe the trajectory of an architectural practice and share built and unbuilt work with new audiences. This 60–minute live conversation, moderated by Julie Cirelli, Director of Park Books, takes up the uncomfortable and often revealing role that publishing plays in producing architectural identity. As architects increasingly author their own narratives, they face the disorienting task of translating building into language, a process that can expose unresolved questions around representation, authorship, and self-perception
