SPAACES presents a special morning event featuring a creative breakfast and panel discussion inspired by Subterranean Voices, the exhibition by artist-in-residence Sabrina Small. Exploring the tension between outward personas and the hidden self, this event also launches a new partnership between SPAACES and FRIEDA, a Philadelphia-based organization dedicated to fostering meaningful connections through art, culture, and food.

Moderated by David Wong, co-founder of FRIEDA and FRIEDAcommunity, the panel brings together exhibiting artists and community professionals for a lively conversation over coffee and breakfast. Together, they will explore themes of artificial intelligence, digital culture, reflection, meditation, and food as a connector, considering how slowing down and embracing imperfection might counter the pressures of a hyper-efficient, machine-driven world and open space for greater authenticity, creativity, and human connection.
