About this Event

Actualize AiR presents:

A New Era for Seattle Art Spaces

The Seattle art scene is having a moment. As stated in Margo Vansynghel and Gemma Wilson's recent article in The Seattle Times, “local artists and art groups are producing or presenting art in fresh ways or skewing traditional models”. Local art leaders Kate Bailey (Founder, Actualize AiR), Nick Ferderer (Founder, Base Camp Studios), Elisheba Johnson (Co-Founder and Curator, Wa Na Wari), and Dominic Nieri (Director, ARTXIV and Producer of Forest For The Trees) will be in conversation with Margo Vansynghel (Arts Economy Reporter, The Seattle Times) to provide insight on this shifting cultural landscape and how these new spaces and new modes of presenting art are adapting to meet the needs of the arts community and the city at large.

Join us during the Downtown Art Walk for an inspiring discussion about the future of the Seattle art world!
