Kiwassa Neighbourhood House, in partnership with Vines Art Festival, Aboriginal Mothers Centre Society (AMCS), and Vancouver Urban Food Forest Foundation (VUFFF), are excited to invite you to our second Pandora Park Community Food Market for 2024 - Pride Edition!This summer we’re hosting a series of Wednesday markets bringing together our diverse neighbourhood for an afternoon of live music, talented artisans, community organizations, free activities, and great food!
Our first market took place June 26, and celebrated Indigenous Resilience in honour and respect of Indigenous Peoples History Month. On July 31st we’ll be hosting a Pride Market in the week leading up to the city's Pride March and festivities. Our final Community Food Market of the summer will be a food focused resource fair on September 18th. The first two markets will be at Pandora Park, 2325 Franklin Street and the final market will be located at Kiwassa Neighbourhood House, 2425 Oxford Street.
The Community Food Markets are on Wednesdays from 2-5pm. These events are free for all with free snacks, workshops and more. But do bring cash if you’d like to purchase anything from our fabulous artisan vendors, delicious food makers, or our low cost produce market.
