About this Event
“What do you envision for the future of connection and community building in Miami?”
This is one of the questions we’ll be answering at our first Pana Social, hosted May 3rd from 3-7pm at the Center for Black Innovation in Overtown. We’re bringing together community connectors like you to answer the questions we’re constantly asking: How can we work together more? What resources and knowledge can we share with each other? How do we collaborate more to avoid conflicting events? How do we build structures and invite new people in?
Our goal is to build collaboration between people/orgs and expand our capacity. We want to be more self-sustaining and community-centered, and we know that will take time and intentional conversations. Over tea and Caribbean-inspired appetizers, we’ll facilitate group discussions with Miami community and event organizers that we hope will impact us, our teams, and our communities. We can't do that without you, will you join us?
Agenda:
- Welcome + tea and plant-based light bites, mingling/chitchat
- Presentation of facilitators
- Discussion with small groups - cooperation, resource sharing, building capacity
- Shared calendar, collaborative collage
- Closing circle
This event is a part of Radical Partners' 10 Days of Connection event series.
