About this Event

Join us for a the prémîéreeee of PAM after a few too many years of development, some Covid cancellations and many many sugar crashes.

This is our last outing in London for a little before PAM and I take a lil' break from each other. Come and watch us go out with a bang and there may be some free Jaffa Cakes in it for you.

Here's a little about the show...

PAM is 55 and from Settle, Yorkshire. She’s recently bereaved and is now trying to figure out what her life means as a solo act. She works making decorative indoor signs, writes whimsical poetry about crumbs, toes and God, and at last she needs to dance.

But, PAM is not real. She was created by a 23 year old. Together, Eliza and PAM provoke the audience to reflect on which parts of ourselves are too big for our own personal vocabularies. PAM is about what happens when we allow these characters to be seen.

It’s about dancing with, writing poetry about, and loving the parts of ourselves we can't accept as real; and grieving when we grow beyond them.

Cast & Creatives

Writer/Performer - Eliza Cass

Director - Grace Gibson

Movement Director - Temitope Ajose-Cutting

Dramaturg - Gemima Hull

Eliza Cass (she/her) is an emerging comedian, theatre maker, facilitator and wannabe dancer. She makes experimental, accessible and intimate solo work that celebrates sensuality and the liveness of performance. Embodying big-boy bizarre and big-boy hearted characters from 9 year old geniuses, to 55 year old ex-bowling superstars to plucky worms, she invites audiences to connect through comfort, joy and permission to fail.
