An American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) class is a specialized training program designed for healthcare professionals who care for critically ill or injured pediatric patients. This comprehensive course focuses on enhancing the assessment and management skills necessary to respond effectively to pediatric emergencies.
Participants learn advanced pediatric resuscitation techniques through interactive scenarios and hands-on simulations, preparing them to deliver high-quality care in pediatric cardiac and respiratory emergencies. PALS certification is essential for healthcare providers working in pediatric units, emergency departments, and critical care settings. Here's an overview of what you can expect from an AHA PALS class:
Pediatric Assessment: Learn systematic approaches for assessing and identifying critical pediatric conditions.
Effective Communication and Team Dynamics: Develop teamwork skills and effective communication strategies for coordinating care during pediatric emergencies.
Pediatric Basic Life Support (BLS): Review and practice pediatric CPR techniques, including chest compressions and rescue breathing.
Recognition and Management of Pediatric Arrhythmias: Master the identification and treatment of pediatric cardiac rhythms, including bradycardia, tachycardia, and pulseless arrest.
Pediatric Pharmacology: Gain knowledge of pediatric Medic*tion administration, dosages, and indications in cardiac and respiratory emergencies.
Integration of Advanced Life Support Algorithms: Apply advanced algorithms for pediatric resuscitation, including defibrillation, synchronized cardioversion, and use of advanced airway devices.
Completing an AHA PALS course equips healthcare providers with the skills and confidence needed to effectively manage pediatric emergencies, improving patient outcomes and safety in pediatric care settings. This training emphasizes evidence-based practices and provides participants with the tools to deliver timely and appropriate interventions for critically ill or injured pediatric patients.

Certification: Upon passing the hands-on and written exams, students will receive an electronic certification (e-card), from the AHA that is valid for 2 years.
Location: Curacao Business Center. Corner of Union St and Olympic Blvd.
Parking: Parking is FREE! Take your ticket and we will validate it.There is a conveniently located parking deck at the Curacao Business Center where the class is located. Enter the 1605 tower on Union Ave.
Classroom: Easy to find. From the parking deck, take the elevator to the 5th floor. Suite 500.
Instructions: We will send you a text message with additional information before your class.
Arrival: Doors open at 8:55am. Doors lock at 9:05am. There is no late entry. We start on time to get you out on time! We are efficient, yet thorough!
