Palomacy's will host an online auction that will run during the party and through Sunday, 6/28 - details to follow.

Extra special thanks to artist Madalina Kelner for so generously bringing our Pigeon Ambition concept to life. Madalina is a Minnesota-based fine artist, teacher, and sound healer whose work centers on joy, accessibility, and connection. She leads her henna and sound healing business with a strong focus on accessibility for disabled and neurodivergent communities, as she is part of both herself.
Her illustration and fine art practices celebrate the delight of pigeons, her favorite special interest. “They are symbols of resilience and perseverance, and they can get just so round and fluffy,” she says. Madalina often uses community building, storytelling, sculpture, and illustration to shift public perception and advocate for these, often overlooked, birds.

Palomacy is a volunteer-powered, donation-funded, foster-based nonprofit rescue located in the San Francisco Bay Area of California saving the lives of domestic (unreleasable) pigeons and doves. We provide rescue, vet care, foster homes and adoptions. Since 2007, Palomacy has placed more than 3,000 birds and helped countless others through coaching, education and referral. While our organization hatched as a local effort to help pigeons and doves in the San Francisco Bay Area, the need for what we do is unlimited. We are one of the only organizations in the world (and possibly the first) completely dedicated to rescuing, rehabbing and rehoming the lost, injured, or displaced pigeon and dove survivors of exploitative businesses, hobbies and sports.
