About this Event
Join the staff and students of Palmyra High School’s Musical for a fun week of theater camp. There are multiple tracks for camp. so, please be sure to select the correct option.
- Elementary Track: This camp is for students who will complete 1st-5th grade this year!
- Middle School Track: This camp if for students who will complete 6th through 8th grade this year or by special permission of the director.
- Tech Track: This camp for Middle School and High School students will explore the technical ends of production including beginning lighting, audio, set, costuming, and publicity needs.
Together, we’ll learn more about acting, singing, dancing, and stagecraft through daily lessons, activities, and rehearsals.
- Elementary Camp: Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Middle School & Tech Track: Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
The week will culminate with a free show on Friday at NOON! After spending the entire week learning lines and songs, rehearsing scenes, and developing an appreciation for stagecraft, this show will allow you to see all of your student’s hard work.
Important notes:
- Camp this year will be held at the Palmyra Area High School, 1125 Park Drive. Please enter through the auditorium entrance.
- Camp tuition is $175 for the elementary track and $195 for the middle /high school tracks. It must be paid in full at the time of registration.
- Campers must be dropped off no earlier than 8:45 a.m. and picked-up no later than 2 p.m. for Elementary Students, and 3 p.m. for Middle School Students.
- Refund requests cannot be considered after 30 days before camp start date.
What to bring:
- Lunch and snack that does not need refrigeration or re-heating.
- A water bottle that can be refilled throughout the day.
What to wear:
- Campers should wear a t-shirt and shorts.
- Shoes should either be dance shoes or sneakers secured with laces or velcro. No flip-flops, sandals, or shoes with slippery soles.

- STAR POWER: In a galaxy obsessed with fame, flashy personas, and Cosmic Ray’s coveted “Yes Way,” a scrappy band called The Red Giants dreams of being discovered. When an unexpected opportunity puts them on the path to superstardom, they’re tempted to trade their true selves for dramatic makeovers, capes, and carefully crafted personas. As ambition pulls them apart and loyalty is put to the test, the band must decide what matters more: chasing fame, or staying true to the friendships that made their music special in the first place.
