Holy Week kicks off with Palm Sunday, a joyful procession welcoming Jesus into Jerusalem as the long awaited Messiah! Join First Lutheran Church and Lutheran Church of the Redeemer as we wave palm branches, sing, and process around the block to celebrate Jesus as our king. Then we'll transition into a dramatic reading of the Passion story, as we remember that despite his triumphant entry to Jerusalem, Jesus was crowned not with gold but with thorns, and died on the cross.Our congregations celebrate the presence and leadership of LGBTQIA+ people in the church.
