Palm-Aire Women's Club Thanksgiving Luncheon

THE MOST WONDERFUL MEAL OF THE YEAR WILL BE CELEBRATED THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 7TH.
Join the Palm-Aire Women’s Club for a special turkey dinner with all the fixings.

The PAWC November luncheon will offer the traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner with a delicious dessert. This special Thanksgiving luncheon will cost $33 for members and $35 for non-members. You can reserve your ticket by contacting Debi Frock at 443-974-8520. (If you had reservations for the canceled October luncheon, that payment can be used for this luncheon, but still contact Debi to tell her if you will be attending.) Payment must be received by October 30.
Kathleen Kramer will be the keynote speaker at the THURSDAY, November 7th luncheon. Ms. Cramer is the executive director of Turning Points, a nonprofit with a mission to prevent and reduce homelessness in Manatee County. Ms. Cramer grew up in an ALICE family (a family that doesn’t qualify for public assistance and yet cannot afford basic necessities). Today she works to provide a compassionate environment where such families can secure the resources they need and respect they deserve.
Turning Points provides, coordinates and facilitates services to prevent and reduce homelessness in Manatee County. They provide services designed to assist individuals and families attain financial stability and independence. They offer employment services, rental and utility assistance, veteran’s services, childcare assistance, and free medical and dental care for the uninsured and underinsured. They also provide hot showers, laundry services, clothing and food. More than 10,000 people received help here last year.

At this luncheon, the PAWC Charity Committee is collecting new, unwrapped toys for Hope Family Services. These gifts are for their Christmas gift distribution in which victims of domestic violence can select gifts for their families and children.

We will be collecting wine and gift cards for the Holly Jolly fundraiser at the November luncheon.
