Charting the Lost Continent: Poetry and Other Discoveries comes at a time in history when its message is more important than ever as both men and women collectively work and struggle toward female empowerment, selfacceptance, and gender equality. The collection explores universal themes and life passages as well as the changing roles of contemporary women and earned the Florida Authors and Publishers Association President’s Book Awards gold medal in 2021. Notably, the book was adapted for the stage in 2023 and has been a successful theater production.
