The Clinical Skills series aims to provide education that will refresh or upskill all health care providers supporting persons with palliative care need. The education sessions provide learning which maintains and enhances participants palliative care knowledge, skills, and practice.
This clinical skills session will cover:
- Highlight a range of emergencies and focus on some
- Increase your awareness of people potentially at risk
- Increase capacity to identify emergencies
- Increase awareness of consequences
- Increase confidence in articulating assessment and findings, to obtain appropriate attention, investigations and therapy
- Increase knowledge of how they can be managed
