Welcome to the Palestinian Cooking Class!

Join us at 3078 Plantation Circle, Tupelo, MS, USA for a fun and interactive cooking experience. Learn how to prepare traditional Palestinian dishes from scratch from out Community Guest Chef, Helwa Irar. We will make flavorful maqluba (upside down chicken and rice dish) and you'll get hands-on experience creating authentic Palestinian cuisine.

Whether you're a cooking enthusiast or just looking to try something new, this class is perfect for all skill levels. You can either join in the cooking process or just hang out and sip wine. Either way, all you have to bring is your appetite! We will enjoy a delicious meal together at the end of the session. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Palestinian culture through food!

Helwa Irar (pictured with her daughter, Hala) lives in Tupelo and is from Palestine. She loves sharing her culture through food. She belives cooking is a language of love that brings people from different backgrounds together. She is excited to do just that by teaching this class!
