This fun and educational event is designed for kids aged 5-13 who are curious about ancient creatures and fossils. Children will dive into the fascinating world of paleontology, exploring real fossils, using microscopes, and uncovering ancient secrets just like a real scientist.The event runs alongside the Gem and Mineral Club, providing a day full of exciting learning experiences.
Including but not limited to:
- Exploring and examining real fossils.
- Using microscopes to study tiny details of ancient specimens.
- Engage in fun, interactive activities related to fossil discovery and prehistoric life.
Note for Parents:
While this is a designed as a drop off situation, parents are welcome to take a self-guided tour of Shantytown or relax at one of our amenities during the course of the program.
Children will need to bring along a packed lunch + water bottle and sun hat. Please also ensure your child is wearing enclosed shoes.
This program is $20 per child.
