Crystal Palace Park has changed beyond recognition since its Victorian heyday. Forgotten statues occupy unglamorous locations, but what do these stone people mean to us today and how can we celebrate them as they are?
Taking inspiration from the sculpture Psyche Abandoned, located at the top of Crystal Palace Park. You will use everyday textures, recycled and found objects and experiment with embossed printmaking to create an image that represents either the sculpture or how the sculpture made you feel.
During the workshop you will learn how to ink up your printing plate, use a small printing press and create an embossed print.
No previous experience needed.
There are two sessions which have been programmed to be age appropriate for the following groups:
10:30: Ages 8-12*
14:00: Ages 13+*
*Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Families welcome.

This is a FREE ADMISSION event. Tickets are limited to two (2) per person, please ensure that tickets are cancelled if you are unable to attend so that another young person can use the opportunity.
