Painting water scenes can be an incredibly fun– and challenging– experience. Have you ever wished you could paint water better? Have you found yourself wondering if there’s a trick to capturing the beauty of oceans, lakes, streams, and maybe the occasional vernal pool, in paint? Join instructor Austin MacRae as we look at famous water pictures (Turner, anyone?), boil down the basics of capturing water in our work, and even try our hand at making some waves.
