What? A two-hour art workshop @ Lang Spot, Thao Dien, HCMC
.
In this workshop, we are going to express our emotions in a healthy and therapeutic way! We will begin by exploring how different techniques such as colour choice, mark-making, and textures can convey different feelings. We will combat our striving for perfectionism with a couple of exercises so that we can fully benefit from expressing our emotions in an uninhibited and freeing manner. Next, we will identify an emotion we are feeling at that moment by doing a very short body scan meditation. Finally, we will create a piece using the emotion we feel as inspiration.
This class isn't about making a masterpiece, but about exploring how we feel, and how we can create something positive from that feeling. This habit can help you to identify and regulate your feelings while having fun and experimenting with new techniques!
All paints and media will be provided. However, I will only be supplying paper, so if you'd like to paint on a canvas feel free to bring your own!
Who? Anyone (over 12 years old) with any level of experience. This space is very experimental and non judgemental.
Where? Lang Spot, Thao Dien.
When? Sunday the 17th of November, 14:00 - 16:00.
