Celebrate the ethereal light of winter in this painting workshop dedicated to exploring the historic genre of Nocturnes! After discovering the nuances that govern this historic genre of painting, students will analyze three 19th Century European and American master artists whose work presents varied approaches in both palette and subject matter. Students will work on one nocturne study a day from each of the three artists using panels sized to match the photo references provided by the instructor.
