Dive into the world of expressive image making through screenprinting. Participants will experiment with hand-drawn imagery, monoprint, and direct-to-screen techniques to create both standard and varied edition screenprints.
About the Instructor: Rachael Dodgson is a Toronto-based artist, educator, and arts worker. A recent MFA graduate from York University, her research explores printmaking as a medium for creating bold, immersive assemblages of surface and abstract imagery.
Rachael has exhibited in both solo and group shows, participated in artist residencies, and received grants from the Ontario Arts Council. Passionate about community-building, she has spent the past decade teaching visual art and facilitating arts programming and events across the city.
