Simply send us a photo of your beloved companion, and our talented instructor will have it pre-sketched on canvas, ready for you to bring to life with paint. Whether your friend has fur, feathers, or scales, you’ll learn step-by-step techniques to create a beautiful portrait that captures their unique personality.
This hands-on workshop puts you in the artist’s seat at an affordable price. You’ll be guided through every brushstroke to create a meaningful, one-of-a-kind piece that’s truly yours.
What’s Included: All painting supplies, expert instruction, snacks, and one drink token

Cost: $60 per person
Photo Submission: Once you’re registered, email your pet’s photo to [email protected] by Saturday, October 4th at 5pm
Registration: Required in advance online or in person (no phone registrations accepted)
Age Policy: Children welcome if they have painting experience or adult supervision. Children under 10 considered case-by-case.
Artist Bio: Delaney Spires, a longtime Cortez resident who recently returned from attending university overseas, is a passionate artist specializing in graphite and pet portraits. She runs her own pet portrait business, Aspires Art, where she captures the unique personality of each animal with careful attention to detail and a deep appreciation for the bond between pets and their people. Delaney finds inspiration in the vibrant, diverse art scene of the Cortez community, where different forms of creativity come together in meaningful and unexpected ways. She’s thrilled to be part of that energy through teaching and connecting with fellow animal lovers. Whether it’s through her realistic pencil work or the playful atmosphere of a paint class, her goal is to help others discover the joy of creating art from the heart.
