These tax credits/incentives are available to businesses located in an Enterprise Zone: All of Montezuma County lies within the Southwest Enterprise Zone, administered by Region 9 Economic Development District. A business located within this boundary (including farms and ranches) may be eligible for the EZ tax credits for areas such as capital investments, jobs and job training, equipment, research & development and other incentives.
It’s almost time to PRECERTIFY your business address for 2026! Learn about how to claim tax credits in 2026! There’s no obligation to earn EZ tax credits, but businesses cannot claim them if the business address has not been PRE-CERTIFIED.
